Dit weekend was het voor het eerst echt lente, en vandaag post ik een paar foto’s die ik toen maakte, om het lentegevoel ook op mijn blog te verspreiden. Ha! :)
This weekend, we got the first real spring weather of the year, and today I’m posting some pictures to spread the spring feelings on my blog as well. Hah! :)
Toen ik op zaterdagmorgen wakker werd was het buiten héél erg mistig. Mijn mama en ik reden met de auto naar de muziekschool. Ik vind het altijd pijnlijk om zo vroeg te moeten opstaan, maar alles ziet er zo vroeg in de ochtend best wel mooi uit.
When I woke up on Saturday morning, it was very misty outside. My mom and I drove to the music school. It’s always painful for me to wake up that early, but on the upside, everything looks really beautiful when it’s early in the morning.

En toen we wat verder reden trok de mist op en en zag het er zo uit. Kijk hoe mooi de bomen in de verte zijn!
And when we drove a little further, the mist started to dissapear and this is what it looked like. Look at the trees in the back, so pretty!
In de namiddag trok de mist op en ik probeerde eerst wat foto’s te maken in de tuin, maar het was gewoon veel te warm voor al die inspanning en daarom ging ik in de zitzak op het terras zitten en genoot ik van het zonnetje terwijl ik een artikel voor school las.
In the afternoon, the mist was totally gone and I tried to take some pictures in the garden, but it was just too hot for all that exertion, so I took the bean-bag to the terrace and I just enjoyed the sun while I was reading an article for school.
Onze kat Baloe kwam ook even langs. Met zo’n weer ben ik echt niet jaloers op die zwarte vacht van hem.
Our cat Baloe came by as well. With this weather, I’m really not jealous of his black fur.
Op zondag begon ik de dag met een looptoertje. Het was echt heerlijk om gewoon in een T-shirt te kunnen lopen. De rest van de dag bracht ik door met luieren op het terras. Ik begon in een nieuw boek: ‘Joe Speedboot’ van Tommy Wieringa.
On Sunday, I started the day with a running tour. I was just wonderful to be able to run in a T-shirt. I spent the rest of the day on the terrace. I started reading a new book: ‘Joe Speedboat’ by Tommy Wieringa.
Op maandag had ik pas ‘s avonds les, en omdat het weer nog steeds heerlijk was besloot ik om nog een dagje thuis te blijven en van het zonnetje te genieten op ons terras. Hadden jullie ook zo’n fijn weekend? En herinneren jullie je nog dat we vorig jaar in maart ook een keer zo’n weer hadden, en dat het een week later opeens sneeuwde?
On Monday, I didn’t have class until the evening, and since it was still really sunny, I decided to stay home a little longer and enjoy the sun on the terrace. Did you have a nice weekend as well? And do you remember we had this kind of weather last March as well, and that one week later, it started snowing?
