Christmas in Leuven

It’s December and that means the Christmas decorations in Leuven are back :) I was planning on taking my camera this week to take some pictures of the city, but I forgot it at home. These ones were made last year, and it actually doesn’t really matter because it looks almost the same (apart from a few ugly additions ;)). The first picture was taken at the Old Square, the third one at the Naamsestraat, and the other ones are from the Grand Square.

It’s been quite sunny and cold, even though it’s not freezing yet, so we won’t be getting snow any time soon (and I really want that, although I wouldn’t care to wait for it until the Christmas vacation). And yes, I’m saying Christmas vacation and not stuvac, because I’m that busy this year (and I’m optimistic). This semester, I only have to do two assignments and one exam, and I think that’s a welcome change when I think of the horror exam schedules I used to have with seven exams in three weeks.

I’m looking forward to Christmas. Even though I have to work for school, I really only feel like doing fun crafts projects, baking things and just having a nice time. Next week, we’re having a Christmas party in Swedish class and that’s going to be yum-yum … um I mean nice ;)

What’s your favourite way to spend the time before Christmas?
